Institute

“Oh, this should only be a two week project” expressed the Creative Director, but it was not a two week project, it was a five month project - Narrator

Extending across the portfolio of JPMorgan Chase's lines of business and global reach, the Institute publishes original research to help policymakers, businesses, and non-profit leaders make more informed decisions. The data allow users to answer important questions about the financial health of US consumers and businesses at the national and local levels, as well as study labor and financial markets.

With the JPMorgan Chase’s namesake, Institute’s old design need a facelift to ensure users had a better experience while searching the latest data and research across different topics and lines of business. Our team was brought in when an outside agency laid out only 5 pages for this overhaul.

With only a few pages laid out, my team was responsible of filling in the gaps of what pages were still needed and if the pre-made pages were aligned with our brand guidelines. We worked with JPMorgan Chase Developers to figure out what modules would fit in our CMS and what was on brand. The modules and layouts we created from this portion fo the JPMC website, shaped the design of the actual JPMorgan Chase website.

One UX feature that was my brainchild was the search feature in the Research section of Institute. After many different prototypes, working with the Line of Business and developers, my Manager and I were able to find the correction solution.
